Facilities include an adventure playground with jungle gyms, swings, a seesaw, play tower and sandbox. There is also a shop with oven-fresh breakfast pastries, pizza service, homemade bio-products, magazines, souvenirs and more; all the products are of the highest quality. The unique wellness oasis offers high-temperature dry sauna, crystal steam bath, "Schwitzkastl" with colored lights, steam room with a giant stove and a fitness room and massage. With "home made" treats and barbecue evenings in the garden, you are expected at the "S Tavern" Restaurant. Meals are served from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, and in the evening from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.

These camping bungalows are for those who don't want to miss out on the feeling of a campsite, but prefer a fixed accommodation. The facilities are simple but functional and include a shower and toilet and a small cooking area complete with dishes. There is a living-bedroom furnished with 2 bunk beds which can accommodate up to 4 persons. For families with 3 children there is the possibility of adding an extra bed. Please note, that bed, table and hand linen are not included. The bungalow also has a small terrace - a great place for breakfast!

The lifts at Vorhegg were rebuilt a few years ago. The valley station of the Vorhegg switchback is located in the town and is easily accessible on foot (10 minutes) or by car. In addition to the double chairlift (one of the longest of its kind), there is a lift which leads from Laas to the "Speckn", the highest point on the slope. Children can enjoy the day near the station on their Telelift. The slopes of Vorhegg are suitable for beginners as well as advanced skiers. Unlike the many anonymous "fast-food ski resorts", Vorhegg will introduce you to the art of skiing within the shortest period of time. Children and adults can learn to ski at the ski school in Kötschach-Mauthen. While your children are being professionally cared for, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery via a unique departure area. There is also a special ski in Mauthen-Kötschach area just for snowboarders. For those who desire to go higher, in 25 minutes (by free ski bus) you can reach the ski area of Nassfeld with 130 km of snow safe and well-groomed slopes, the longest gondola in the Alps and much more. For freestylers, there is a snowboard area with a snow-cross park and a half pipe. The Nassfeld ski area is one of the top 10 ski resorts in Austria and because the ski area is located directly on the Austro-Italian border, skiing there is virtually unlimited! 30 modern cable cars and ski lifts deliver you to 110 km of snow-covered slopes. The highlight is of course the Millennium Express, the longest gondola in the Alps. You need 17 minutes for the more than 6,000-meter-long stretch to the top of the Gailtal.
